All beads are handmade from recycled paper by vulnerable Ugandan women like Anyango.

 

Each kit contains:

  • 8 big recycled paper beads (handmade by Ugandan women)
  • 8 medium recycled paper beads
  • 60 small glass beads (approx.)
  • 60cm of elastic thread
  • Easy to follow instructions
  • Reusable linen bag

No special tools are required and the materials can make either 2 bracelets or 1 necklace

Description

All beads are handmade from recycled paper by vulnerable Ugandan women from Mafubira (Eastern Uganda) like Anyango. Anyango was earning less than £10 before joining our development group and thanks to her new skills, now she works for a fairer salary. By increasing opportunities for Anyango, we decrease the risk of children running away to the streets due to poverty.

By supporting this initiative, you support Ugandan street children through Ugandan women empowerment.
